Task 1

Write down what you think the definition  is for the following words in your GoogleDoc.

Fact

A fact is something that is true.

Facts are something that you can prove to be true.

E.g. The Earth is the 3rd planet from the sun.

Read over the following statements and decide if they are Fact, Opinion or Belief.

There are several different beliefs in the world around us.

As philosophers we need to consider:

  1. What are the differences between beliefs?

  2. Are any statements not a belief?

To practice this we are going to be examining some statements.

In your table on your GoogleDoc decide if they are a belief or not a belief.
